Preparing this Maharashtrian Shrikhand is a child's play! It just involves straining the yogurt to remove its whey and then mixing the ingredients together. What you get in return is nothing less than scrumptious.
This yogurt dessert is normally prepared during the festival of Dussehra at the end of Navratri but can be enjoyed on any special occasion throughout the year or even when you just fancy a treat.
It can be enjoyed on its own or can be eaten with puris, chapati, or paratha.
