Cornflour and Cheese help the Yogurt (Dahi/Curd) marinade to stick to the broccoli. The combination of spices like Green Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder, Black Pepper (Kali Mirch) Powder, Cumin (Jeera) Powder, Garam Masala and Roasted Dried Fenugreek Leaves (Kasuri Methi) add depth and flavor, while using an Air Fryer ensures the outside is crispy, and the inside stays tender.
Tips for Perfect Creamy Broccoli
Prepare the Broccoli: Start by washing, draining and cutting the broccoli into small, equal bite-sized florets, ensuring even cooking.
Make the Marinade: In a bowl add cashew green chilli paste along with other marinade ingredients and mix until well-combined making sure there are no lumps.
Coat the Broccoli: Add the broccoli florets to the bowl, making sure each piece is generously coated with the marinade. This ensures maximum flavor in every bite. Then thread the broccoli florets on to the skewers.
Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 200°C/390°F and preheat for about 3 minutes. This step is crucial for even cooking.
Air Fry Broccoli: Grease Air Fryer basket with some oil and place the coated broccoli skewers in it in a SINGLE layer. Cook for 10-12 mins. Turn them over halfway through to encourage even crispiness and brush some oil all over.
